The competition was designed for simple reasons: it’s fun, it’s rewarding.

I could write something really fancy, but I’ll keep this short. Basically the competition serves as an intense knockout competition that will aim to rapidly increase waller skills and abilities (if applicable) and to also exercise those skills and creativity. Also you get to receive comments from judges who don’t know who you are, so you’re getting honest feedback.  Judges vary from advanced wallers to beginners even (it really could be literally anyone), however this is not to discourage you – the commenting from judges is designed so that the judges can in turn reflect upon their own art works and developing a sharper eye. You in turn get a multiplicity of interpretations of your work, which may be unexpected. It’s a learning process for everyone.

We encourage you to proof your wallpapers by sending them to a friend or someone you think is good with critiquing, to help wallers get into the habit of proofing their submissions beforehand.
It’s basically meant to be fun – and crazy. The themes you will get each round are highly varied and will most likely not be conventional. Like a challenge? This is for you.
